Information Fitmo uses
Workout and routine data
Exercises, routines, sets, repetitions, weights, timers, notes, and workout history are used to provide the workout tracker. This information is primarily stored on your device; eligible non-Health workout history can sync through your private iCloud storage when available. When you choose a gym or current area, its name and optional map coordinates are saved with the local workout or routine. Imported workout files and photos added only to report designs are processed on your device. A report is shared externally only when you export it through an app or destination you choose.
Account and social information
If you use social features, Sign in with Apple provides an account identifier and, when you choose to share them, your name and email address. Fitmo also stores your profile, friend code, friendships, friend requests, and block list so those features work across devices.
Activity you choose to share
After you sign in, Fitmo stores the summary statistics enabled in your privacy settings. Recent-session sharing is enabled by default for permitted friends and squad members and can be changed in Me → Statistics & Privacy. Shared sessions cover the last 14 days and include the workout title, date, duration, and a limited exercise summary. Private set-by-set weights, notes, and location are excluded from these shared-session summaries. If you separately choose to share a reusable routine, the app explains which exercise and set details are included before you confirm. Friend relationships, requests, blocks, and encouragement interactions are stored to operate the social features.
Profile photos and exercise submissions
If you choose a profile photo, Fitmo uploads a resized copy to private hosted storage so it can be displayed with your profile. People who can discover or view your profile, including permitted friend-code searches, may see the photo. Exercise or equipment submissions upload the name, brand, notes, and photos you choose to send to a private review queue. Please do not include other people’s personal information or sensitive documents.
Private squads
Squad features store membership, squad settings, cycle history, and cheers. Workout completion and activity-day totals support squad participation. Additional metrics are uploaded only for the metric sharing you enable. These may include exercise minutes and lifting volume. Squad members see the relevant progress within the private group. You can manage metric consent and leave a squad; an owner may need to transfer ownership or archive it first.
Purchases and subscriptions
Apple processes all payments. RevenueCat receives purchase status, product identifiers, transaction information, and an app-specific account identifier so Fitmo can unlock and restore Pro features and understand purchase and subscription activity through RevenueCat’s dashboard. RevenueCat can create an anonymous app-specific identifier before you sign in, and it is associated with your Fitmo account when you sign in. Purchase processing may include device, app-version, country/storefront, and network information needed to operate and protect the service. We do not receive your full payment-card details.
Support and safety reports
If you contact support or report a user or shared workout, we process your account identifier, the reported account or workout reference, the reason, and any details you provide to investigate and respond. In-app reports are kept in a private review queue and are not shown to the reported user or other members.
Notifications and device information
If you enable notifications, Fitmo stores a push-notification device token to deliver requested social and account alerts. Basic technical information may be processed to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the service.
Device permissions
Fitmo uses the system photo picker for images you select for an avatar, exercise submission, or report. Saving an exported image can request permission to add to your photo library. Optional location permission helps find nearby gyms or your current area using Apple Maps and geocoding; Fitmo does not continuously track your location or upload workout coordinates to its social backend. Notifications are optional. You can change permissions in iOS Settings.
Apple Health
Apple Health import is not available in this release. Fitmo does not request new Health access, read Apple Health workouts, or write to Apple Health. Previously imported Health workouts can remain in your personal device history. Current automatic iCloud journal sync, device backups, friend statistics and squad synchronization exclude these records. You can remove them through History or Me → Fitness & Data → Manage Imported History; this does not delete the originals in Apple Health. Reports or summaries shared previously are not recalled automatically. Health data is not used for advertising or marketing and is not sold.
Why we process information
We use information only as needed to:
- provide workout, account, friend, and Pro features;
- sync the social information you choose to store;
- deliver notifications you enable;
- restore purchases, maintain entitlements, and understand subscription performance;
- protect the service from abuse and diagnose technical problems; and
- comply with legal obligations.
Service providers
Fitmo uses Apple for sign-in, purchases, notifications, Maps, and platform services; Supabase for hosted account, social, and submitted-content storage; and RevenueCat for subscription and entitlement management. Resend delivers administrative notifications about the exercise review queue; those notification emails do not include submission content. GitHub Pages hosts this website and may process standard request information such as IP addresses to serve and secure it. Support requests sent by email are handled by our email provider. Providers process information as needed to deliver their services under their applicable terms and privacy policies.
Retention and deletion
On-device workout data remains until you remove it or delete the app. Fitmo’s iCloud journal sync can restore eligible non-Health history; imported Health activities are excluded from cloud and device backups. Hosted account and social data is kept while needed to provide the features you use. Recent shared sessions are limited to a rolling 14-day window by the app’s synchronization flow. Account deletion removes the account and associated profile, avatar, submissions, and social records through the deletion flow. Limited purchase-event, support, security-log, and provider backup records may remain for billing, abuse prevention, legal obligations, or the provider’s retention period. Deletion cannot recall a report or image you already shared with another person or service.
You can permanently delete your social account from Me → Edit Profile → Delete Account. See the account deletion guide for details.
Your choices
You can use workout tracking without signing in, manage sharing within Fitmo, remove friends, block users, disable notifications, restore purchases, and delete your account. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or receive a copy of personal information.
Children and international use
Fitmo is not directed to children under 13, or a higher minimum age where local law requires it. Information may be processed in countries other than your own, with safeguards appropriate to the service provider and applicable law.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy as Fitmo evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with a new effective date. Questions or privacy requests can be sent to LeanLine@163.com. Fitmo is operated by HuuminStudio.
